Indivillage provides technical skills training to rural women and youth in India. The company has created rural business process outsourcing centers, where their students can find employment from local NGOs and tech companies. Indivillage is then paid by these firms who are engaging the services of the graduates. This firm was created by Pomai Verzon in 2009 in response to a challenge by former president Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam for entrepreneurs to focus their energies on the villages of India.
