Biodiversity and Company

Biodiversity and Company was recognized as the 2nd place finalist in the 2008 William James Foundation Sustainable Business Plan Competition, and was also recognized by the Richard Heinberg Sustainable Prizes, sponsored by the Foundation for a Sustainable Future. The company aligned commercial and conservation objectives to protect the critically endangered Choco Rainforest in Ecuador. While they are no longer operating, the founders have gone on to succeed with other entrepreneurial endeavors, and remain connected with the Mentor Capital Network. Another company, WholeForest, is doing similar work in that region today.
