Before applying to the Mentor Capital Network’s Sustainable Business Plan Collaboration, please be sure you fulfill the following requirements:
- You are a for-profit start-up or growing company that has a social, environmental, and/or cultural mission that strengthens your company’s financial margin.
- You are open to receiving feedback from reviewers, including industry and regional experts, investors, lawyers, and accountants from around the globe.
- You are interested in building a relationship with a mentor, and not just having a one-time conversation.
- You are able to submit your documents in English, Spanish, or French. Our team’s primary language is English, so if you are working in Spanish or French, please have at least one English-speaker we can communicate with.
We are currently securing sponsorship for our 2017 program. See a sample timeline here.
In the meantime, please join our mailing list to stay informed about upcoming Opportunities.
Note: Please note that despite having the word “Foundation” in our original name, The William James Foundation, we do not distribute grants. Any for-profit or non-profit organizations that apply looking only to receive funds will not be considered.
