Before applying to the Mentor Capital Network’s Sustainable Business Plan Collaboration, please be sure you fulfill the following requirements:
- You are a for-profit start-up or growing company that has a social, environmental, and/or cultural mission that strengthens your company’s financial margin.
- You are open to receiving feedback from reviewers, including industry and regional experts, investors, lawyers, and accountants from around the globe.
- You are interested in building a relationship with a mentor, and not just having a one-time conversation.
- You are able to submit your application in English. This is a two-page document. If you are accepted, you may submit your full business plan in English, Spanish, or French.
Applications for 2016 are now closed.
Applications for 2017 as soon as we secure the necessary funding to run our program.
In the meantime, please join our mailing list to stay informed about upcoming events and deadlines.
Note: Please note that despite having the word “foundation” in our original name, The William James Foundation, we do not distribute grants. Any for-profit or non-profit organizations that apply looking only to receive funds will not be considered.
