  • Esoko builds communication tools for businesses, government, NGOs and others to connect with farmers.
  • Ignitia is the world’s first and most accurate tropical weather forecasting company. The forecasts are delivered to West African farmers via SMS in partnership with mobile network operators.

  • Access Afya provdes modern healthcare operating system for emerging economies.
  • Biosense Technologies enables affordable, point-of-care devices to monitor blood glucose, urine, and to screen for anemia.
  • Novulis is a social, public-health enterprise that provides on-the-job-site oral health solutions with employer subsidy to the working poor of Ecuador.
  • PACE MD provides quality training to the best health providers in Latin America.
  • Sproxil builds trust across pharmaceutical supply chains with mobile technology solutions that emphasize direct engagement from the factory through to the consumer.

  • Maternova is a web-based global marketplace tracking and selling goods/services saving the lives of mothers and newborns. They make it easy for doctors, nurses and midwives to track innovation and to buy technologies and kits to use overseas.
  • Pinkcollar is a a first-of-its-kind solution for employers looking for a better way to hire domestic workers, and for workers seeking safe and dignified jobs.
  • Saathi has developed a fully eco-friendly and biodegradable sanitary pad with an absorbent core made from waste banana tree fiber.
  • Wello Water created the WaterWheel, an income-generating tool to lift their families out of poverty. The WaterWheel is an innovative water transportation tool designed to alleviate the problems associated with lack of easy access to water.

  • change:WATER Labs is developing a low-cost, compact, waterless toilet for non-sewered households and communities.
  • Folia Materials manufactures the world’s first water filter that costs pennies, for sale to base of the pyramid consumers. Folia is an OEM materials technology company and sells B2B2C through food/bev CPG importer-distributor wholesaler partners.
  • Sanergy builds healthy, prosperous communities by providing sustainable non-sewered sanitation solutions in Africa’s urban informal settlements.
  • Sanivation provides a household sanitation service and affordable fuel to residents living in slums of Kenya, where current toilets are too expensive and require infrastructure that slum dwellers are not setup to invest in.

  • Jaan Pakistan sell affordable clean energy solutions to off-grid areas of Pakistan.
  • Mera Gao Power builds, owns, and operates micro grids in Uttar Pradesh, India serving off-grid villages with high quality, dependable lighting and mobile phone charging services. MGP’s low-cost design is the first commercially viable micro grid targeted at the rural poor.
  • Sonsight Wind is developing a small (5kW) horizontal axis wind turbine that is versatile and more cost effective, particularly within moderate winds for sale to residential and business customers.

  • Clean Decisions is a janitorial and landscaping service company solely owned and operated by returning citizens.
  • IDEFOCS is a group of former child soldiers from different fighting groups in Liberia dedicated to one goal – rehabilitating and reintegrating former child soliders.
  • Wash Cycle Laundry delivers laundry on bicycles with trailers while creating meaningful, upwardly mobile careers in all their locations.

Providing access to financial, educational, and technical resources for all members of society.

Companies we’ve worked with in these areas include:

  • First Access is dedicated to the financial inclusion of billions of people who lack formal personal records. They use prepaid mobile records to help increase access to credit.
  • GogyUp Literacy Support System converts existing text into trackable, mobile training with embedded, just-in-time reading assistance for employees with low print literacy or English proficiency.
  • Kopo Kopo is a world-class platform to enable small and medium businesses to accept mobile payments and build relationships with their customers.
  • Tala uses nontraditional data to create credit scores that are bringing 3 billion consumers to the global market.
  • ZigWay provides low income families in Myanmar with a mobile application that gives people direct access to cheap, flexible Nano Loans ($5-$200) via their phones.

  • Chakr Innovation has developed the world’s first retro-fit emission control device for diesel generators. Their technology can capture ~90% of particulate matter emissions from the exhaust of diesel generators without causing any adverse impact on the engine.
  • MoveInSync “provides smart, effective and safe corporate transport operations, providing complete control and visibility to the transportation stakeholders.
  • Next Step NewCo supports a network of builders replacing aging, pre-HUD Code mobile homes with high-quality, ENERGY STAR factory-built homes, while connecting low-income homebuyers to education, counsel and fair financing.
  • RUR Greenlife designs, builds, and implements sustainable,decentralized waste management solutions for individuals, schools, organizations, housing societies, and industry.
  • Up Top Acres designs, builds and operates commercial rooftop soil farms.

Promoting sustainable consumption and production patterns.

  • Tonlé designs and makes comfortable, wearable clothes. They adhere to principles of transparency, fairness, and waste reduction in all of their processes.

Protecting, restoring, and promoting sustainable use of ecosystems, sustainably managing forests, combating desertification, and halting and reversing land degradation and biodiversity loss.

  • Re-Nuble is a leading developer of innovative, plant-based, agricultural technologies sourced from verified, unrecoverable vegetative waste streams.
  • TerViva grows a hardy, high yielding oilseed tree crop called pongamia.
  • The Jackfruit Company supports agricultural supply chain development for fruits in India.
  • WholeForest partners with communities in Ecuador to conserve threatened forests, implement sustainable forest management, design and manufactures hardwood flooring and furniture in the community factory, and market them to green construction projects in the US.
