WJF Update: 16 September 2013

Dear Ian,

Two quick things:
2014 Sustainable Business Plan Competition Program is underway
The William James Foundation is in the feedback business. So when we get some, we listen. Because of that, there are some excellent changes to this year’s programming in support of the next generation of sustainable entrepreneurs.
We’re looking for folks to pitch their company on stage at the DC Green Festival
Sunday, the 22nd, at 1PM, the William James Foundation will be hosting an event at the Washington, DC Green Festival. Companies can pitch their company to accredited investors, who will then hold the traditionally private investor debrief meeting in public. This is a chance to get real-time feedback from real investors on your pitch. (Note: due to the public nature of the event, specific investment terms can not be mentioned.) We are looking for two companies to pitch.
So if you are / know an early- or seed- stage company with a green focus that is willing to make their investment pitch in public, please have them contact me (ian.fisk@williamjamesfoundation.org) by COB on Wednesday.

Thanks to all of you for the work that you do.
Ian Fisk
