Pharmacy lifeline in Kenya

Pharmacies are often the first and only stop for Kenyans when they fall sick, but they are often unregulated and the advice given and drugs prescribed is of variable quality. Newsday’s Alan Kasujja visited an organisation which is trying to change that. ‘Access Afya’, runs three micro clinics and two pharmacies which service thirty thousand people in Nairobi’s informal settlements.
